iQOO 13 likely to launch in first week of December

Mark your calendars for December 5, as iQOO is gearing up to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the iQOO 13, in India. This launch is set to create some buzz, especially as it will go head-to-head with the much-anticipated OnePlus 13. With both phones powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 series chipset, the competition will be intense.
According to a report by Smartprix, the iQOO 13 is expected to bring some much-needed upgrades, making it a strong contender in the high-end smartphone market. From a high-resolution display to a bigger battery, iQOO is set to offer a device packed with advanced features.
Key Features of the iQOO 13
The iQOO 13 is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED flat display, boasting a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming. The display, developed by BOE specifically for iQOO, promises exceptional clarity and energy efficiency, making it a delight for multimedia and gaming enthusiasts.
Under the hood, the iQOO 13 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This means the phone will handle multitasking and demanding apps effortlessly, delivering top-notch performance.
Camera Setup and Other Features
When it comes to photography, the iQOO 13 is expected to feature a triple camera setup at the back. The setup includes a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens, giving users flexibility to capture everything from landscapes to close-ups with great detail. For selfies, it will sport a 32MP front camera, which should work well for video calls and social media content.
The phone will also feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, adding an extra layer of security. It is expected to come with a large 6,100mAh battery, supporting 100W fast charging, which means users won’t have to worry about battery life. Additionally, the phone is said to have an IP68-rated body for water and dust resistance, making it durable for everyday use.
While pricing details aren’t confirmed yet, Smartprix speculates that the iQOO 13 could start at around Rs 55,000 in India. With its powerful specs and premium design, it’s shaping up to be a strong competitor to the OnePlus 13.
